First Kara a success!

This past weekend we took our first steps into Kara and downed the first two bosses without too much trouble!

Next weekend's focus will be:
* Improve the time on downing Attumen and Moroes
* Start the Opera Event and get a few good attempts at it (hopefully completing it)

Overall everyone was rather pleased with our progress last weekend. We got further than we were hoping for. Much thanks to everyone who participated.

It's not everyone, but we had enough people online to almost have a full AB group last Sunday!

Here we are in our adopted meeting room complete with a stuffed bear... No, not familyjewels, the other bear!

Moving forward

So most of you already know, but just to make it clear until I get time to redesign the site... We're no longer strictly a twink guild.

For the past few months it's been a goal of the officers to progress the guild further than being the 29 twink guild. Now that TBC has been released we've been spending a lot of time with world PvP in outlands and will eventually start running small raids in the end game content.

With that said, we're now taking applications for both twink characters (only 29 for now, this will broaden - it is also helpful if your main joins in as well - pretty soon we'll want to decide as a guild if we want to play on the mains or on the twinks any given night) and TBC 61+ characters. We'll do our best to invite most people who apply but please keep in mind, Bloodsail is comprised of members who have been playing together for quite a while. We work well together and have fun together. Everyone who is invited to the guild will go through a short period of evaluation where we decide if you're right for us or not. This period of time can last however long we see fit.

The new primary Bloodsail Goals:

• World PvP
• 29 Twinks
• Low rolling Instances
• PvE progression

Bloodsail Guild Addon

We're pleased to announce the addition of our very own addon. Visit the forums to get the downloader/updater. The following is the list of current features:

• Guild wide notices - Allows the masters to send notices to the entire guild.
• Tree list of guild members - No more confusion over alts
• Query BG Info - tells you what instance ID everyone is in! (no more asking: "What WSG are you in?")
• Easy Invite - Auto invite yourself to someone's group or auto invite someone into your group with the click of a button
• Guild Member Tooltips - Detailed color coded member info.

More is being added as suggestions are made... I'll keep this list updated as needed.

Changing PVP Night - Poll on forums

We're changing the PVP night from Wednesday. Visit the [WSG Night - Poll] post in the forums to give your 2c.

Wednesday is PVP night!

Every Wednesday night, please log in and get queued up for WSG and AB. Lastnight was our first night of doing this and not everyone showed up - If you can't make it please post in the forums so we know what's going on.

Also, the horde was notified that Wednesday we'd be queueing up and they failed to show - guess that shows how much of a llama baldii is... :)

Who are we?
The Bloodsail Buccaneers are a 20-29 twink guild head up by Jemmy and Agamas on the World of Warcraft Smolderthorn server. If you'd like to join with us, please visit the Applications section of our forums.

Everyone helps everyone else out in the Bloodsail. We have a guild bank run by low AH bids as well as member contribution. We also have a ventrilo server open to all members of the guild to use for battlegrounds and for item gathering/questing.
